The Color of Self Confidence

Commissioned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) and created in collaboration with artist David Gil, The Color of Self-Confidence is an animated short art film portraying self-confidence as the key element to ever changing universal beauty. Inspired by Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, we imagined a series of black and white bubble-bath-girls admiring shadows projected by a burning flame behind them. Suddenly, one of the girls is compelled to turn around and to look at the Flame source of light. Astonished, she discovers the colors of self-confidence and morphes into a Warholian silkscreen moving painting. As she spreads the word other bubble-bath-girls become acquainted with the infinite color palette of Sephora’s Flame. The short film served as creative direction brief to Where Beauty Beats, Sephora Paris 2013 ad campaigned produced by BETC Paris.
